The father of the child, Barak Al-Shammari, revealed that the delay in dealing with the case of his son before his evacuation to Saudi Arabia may cause him to not stop and remain in intensive care.
Hussein Al-Shammari (father of the Bidoon child Barak) confirmed to “News 24“The doctors met him after his son arrived with evacuation from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, and they explained to him that it was difficult for Barak to stand because he had other problems other than those in the spine.
He explained that the decision of the medical staff supervising his condition in the Kingdom will result in knowing the extent to which he can tolerate the operation or whether he will remain in his previous condition in intensive care.
Al-Shammari indicated that he does not want to anticipate events, given that his son is currently in the stage of doing x-rays and examinations, which last for two days to study his condition, and on the basis of which it becomes clear the extent to which he can undergo an operation and rehabilitate him afterwards.
Finally, he mentioned that his son was in his worst condition during the past six months, as one of his lungs stopped, and that treating him as “without” and a case that is not an exception to treatment made his situation difficult and his condition relapsed.
