Today (Wednesday), the Ministry of Health made it possible to take the updated dose of the Corona vaccine for those who have spent 3 months from the previous dose, with the aim of enhancing the level of completion of immunization that the person has reached.
She explained that the dose carries important updates against the new mutants present in some countries, and gives better protection against the severe disease caused by them, indicating that obtaining it will be by making an appointment through the “My Health” application.
And she indicated that this step came with the aim of preserving the health and safety of the elderly who are eligible for vaccination, and protecting them from complications of infection with this virus.
It is noteworthy that the updated Covid vaccine is called “double” because it gives protection from severe disease from the original virus strain in addition to the Omicron mutants.
