News 24 | Torrents wash away vehicles in a number of neighborhoods in Makkah Al-Mukarramah

Heavy rains in some neighborhoods of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region caused torrential rains, which resulted in a large number of vehicles being swept away in the streets.

And the National Center of Meteorology had warned today (Friday) of thunderstorms, from medium to heavy, accompanied by active winds that limit the range of horizontal visibility, and showers of hail that lead to torrential rains in parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The center also expected a decrease in temperatures to occur in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and the Directorate of Civil Defense warned that the region would continue to be exposed to thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain until 7 pm, calling on the residents of the region to move away from water pools, valleys and dams.
