Two people were killed when a well wall collapsed on workers repairing a well in Oman. According to the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, the accident occurred when the wall fell while the well was being repaired. The accident took place on Friday morning in Khaburah province of Northern Bathina governorate. (Two killed while carrying out maintenance work of a well in Oman).
The information regarding the nationalities of the dead and injured is not yet available. Rescue operations are progressing under the leadership of Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority.
The authorities had warned that precautionary measures should be taken in workplaces to avoid such accidents. The rescue workers said that the search for the other missing worker is continuing.
