New in One UI 5 Watch
Three novelties have already been presented. The first relates to an improvement in sleep monitoring. Samsung announces the addition of a new user interface called “Sleep Insights” which should show a “clearer” overview of the sleep level of the past night. More interestingly, One UI 5 Watch wants to help you create better sleeping habits.
Since connected watch often rhymes with sports watch, Samsung has not forgotten this audience and wants to improve in this sector. A new interface will display personalized heart rate zones, real-time running analysis and a personalized interval training program.
Samsung also announces that Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users will be able to access GPX files directly on Samsung Health.
Last significant novelty, concerning security, One UI Watch integrates a new SOS system. This makes it possible to contact an emergency number directly and to send information on the location of the wearer and his medical situation. Fall detection is also enabled by default for users aged 55 and over.
