NEXIQ launches Blue-Link 2 for mobile devices

NEXIQ Technologies launches its Blue-Link 2 mobile vehicle interface for use with applications running on Android and Apple mobile devices.

It allows users to communicate seamlessly with heavy vehicles for quick access to basic diagnostic information, the company says.

“Our second generation of Blue-Link offers easier connectivity to iOS, has higher throughput than our previous version and is more powerful to support the development of iOS and Android solutions for communicating with vehicles,” noted Dave Shock, product manager at NEXIQ Technologies. “In addition, this advanced mobile interface for vehicles supports the CAN FD protocol and includes Wi-Fi connection capability.
