During a video podcast regarding the future of the Xbox business, Xbox President Sarah Bond referenced the next generation of Xbox hardware, claiming it will be “the biggest technological leap you’ve ever seen in a hardware generation.”
Before the podcast was released, some fans expressed concern on social media that reports of Xbox’s plans to bring some of its games to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles might be a sign of its exit from the hardware business . However, Bond’s comments appeared to allay those fears.
“There are some exciting things in hardware that we will be unveiling later this year,” she said, “and we are also investing in the next-generation roadmap. And what we’re really focused on is delivering the biggest technical leap you’ve ever seen in a hardware generation, making it better for gamers, and better for creators and the visions they build.”
