According to information from Bild newspaper both NFL games of the coming season are to be played on German soil in Frankfurt. Munich would not be included in 2023. According to the newspaper, the dates are already fixed: November 12th and 19th. This would also mean that Eintracht Frankfurt from the Bundesliga would have to play two away games in a row in mid-November in order to release their stadium for the NFL entourage.
In addition, according to the Bild two favorites against which opponents Chiefs and Patriots will play their home games: The Chiefs are to receive the Chicago Bears in Frankfurt, which would mean that the Bears would come to Germany with the German-American receiver Equanimeous St. Brown. The Patriots are scheduled to play their home game against the New Orleans Saints at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park.
Last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with superstar Tom Brady started the NFL Germany games against the Seattle Seahawks in Munich. 69,811 fans turned the Allianz Arena into a madhouse. The Buccaneers ended up winning the game 21-16.
