Mac Jones and the New England Patriots kicked off their 2023 season by losing at home to the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that they very easily might have won if not for a late turnover.
Speaking of turnovers, Jones handed the Eagles their first touchdown of the season in the opening quarter when he threw an interception to Darius Slay, who took it back 70 yards to the house for six points.
It looked like Jones might have made a play on Slay during his long return but instead of going all out, the Patriots QB did, well, this:
