The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs secured playoff spots in dramatic fashion in Week 15. The Bills entered the postseason for the fourth straight season with a walk-off field goal in a snowstorm, while the Chiefs won the AFC West for the seventh straight year with an overtime win over the Houston Texans.
Die Baltimore Ravens surely counting down the days until Lamar Jackson returnsafter losing their lead in the AFC North to the Cleveland Browns. The Cincinnati Bengals now have a home game in the playoffs after an impressive comeback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Urgent help is needed in Tennessee after the Titans lost their fourth straight game. Once comfortable in the division, the Titans are now within striking distance of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have won three of their last four games.

In the AFC East it will be very interesting with the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots and the New York Jets. With games against the Bengals, Dolphins and Bills, the Patriots could be kicking themselves after their embarrassing Week 15 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The top of the NFC Playoffs is beginning to take shape. It required unimaginable heroic deeds and the greatest comeback in NFL historyto give the Minnesota Vikings the NFC North win on Saturday. The San Francisco 49ers had a slightly easier path to winning their division after beating the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night Brock Purdy had defeated, who continued his improbable rise.

It was business as usual for the Philadelphia Eagles, who clinched their fifth straight win on Sunday. Week 16 is a crucial week for the Eagles as they face the Dallas Cowboys away from home. It’s also the earliest possible opportunity for them to secure the division and home field advantage.
After a tie in their first meeting, the New York Giants earned an important victory against the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football. With this win, New York secured their second wild card ahead of Washington and now has an 87% chance of reaching the postseason. Dallas also secured a playoff spot thanks to the Giants’ win (and despite the loss to the Jaguars).

Attention, wild card places! The Detroit Lions are coming, and fast. The Lions, who have won six of their last seven games, are now a serious contender for a wild card. A favorable end-of-the-year schedule—featuring games against the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers— even makes this scenario very realistic.

The NFC South remains arguably the most mediocre division in the league, yet it’s the closest divisional race in the NFL. Only one win separates the Buccaneers from the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons. The Bucs missed a great opportunity to gain some breathing room with an epic rout by Tom Brady and company against the Bengals.
