A Sense of Revenge for LA (4 p.m.)
Summary

New season, but a feeling of deja vu for the Los Angeles Chargers who find the team that deprived them of participation in the playoffs.

In the very last regular season game of 2021, the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Chargers 35-32 in overtime. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert admitted the Jan. 9 loss is still hard to come to terms with.

A lot of things have changed since that match though. The Raiders are banking on a new coach in Josh McDaniels and welcome the arrival of former Green Bay Packers star receiver Davante Adams. For their part, the Chargers welcome Khalil Mack in defense.

A long-awaited duel arises between these two teams of the Western division of the American which promises to be very tough.

Tom Brady made headlines during the offseason with the announcement of his retirement to finally return to his position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The quarterback has also been sidelined at his team’s training camp for personal reasons.

For his part, Dak Prescott hopes that the Cowboys will be able to enjoy success in the regular season and then continue in the playoffs.

Both teams had put on quite a show in the previous campaign with the Bucs winning 31-29 thanks in particular to four touchdown passes from Brady. Prescott was no slouch with three touchdowns and 403 yards.

At 45, can Brady continue to win in the NFL? A first sample response in the evening.
