Oilers center Leon Draisaitl was held off once morest the Kraken.
Head coach Jay Woodcroft said his player needs to recover from some physical hiccups.
Draisaitl, 27, has 27 goals and 36 assists in 36 games so far this season.
The Cologne, Germany native ranks second in the NHL in total points, behind teammate Connor McDavid.
