NHL – Cory Schneider continues the Islanders adventure

The New York Islanders have decided to offer the veteran goaltender a contract extension Cory Schneider. The 36-year-old, who holds a Swiss passport, has signed up for an additional season on Long Island.

Last year, he played 30 AHL games with Bridgeport finishing with a 2.71 goals- once morest average. We will therefore have to wait to see a player, the former New Jersey Devils goalkeeper, play once more in Switzerland. As a reminder, during the 2012-13 lockout, he wore the colors of Ambri-Piotta and Fribourg-Gottéron during the Spengler Cup.
