Boston (SID) – The Boston Bruins from the North American professional ice hockey league NHL have parted ways with their coach Bruce Cassidy. That season, Boston lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round of the playoffs.
Cassidy took over the six-time Stanley Cup winner in early 2017. Boston made the playoffs every season under the 57-year-old. In 2019, the Canadian led the Bruins to the finals, where Boston lost to the St. Louis Blues following seven games.
