NHL – NHL: Clear bankruptcy for Sturm and Minnesota

by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

Cologne (SID) – The German ice hockey professional Nico Sturm suffered another significant defeat with the Minnesota Wild in the North American professional league NHL. Two days following beating the Winnipeg Jets 6-3, the Saint Paul team lost 6-2 to the Florida Panthers on Friday night (local time). Sturm remained without goal participation.

Despite the fifth home defeat, Minnesota, in second place in the Western Conference, is clearly on the play-off course. The Augsburg storm, which has contributed eight goals and assists to Wild’s strong season in 44 games so far, was on the ice for almost eight minutes. On Sunday, Sturm and Co. meet Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers.
