NHL: Niederreiter and Nashville start well – rts.ch

The new NHL season has started well for Nashville and Nino Niederreiter. In Prague, the Predators beat San Jose 4-1.

For the first of two matches played in the Czech capital, the team led by Roman Josi took the best of the Californians. And if the brilliant Bernese defender did not put his name on the score sheet in just over 24 minutes of playing time, Nino Niederreiter was responsible for shining the Swiss flag by succeeding 3-1.

On the other side of the ice, Timo Meier struggled and finished the game with an assist on the goal of regional player Tomas Hertl.

The Sharks will have the opportunity to take their revenge on Saturday evening in the same venue for the second game of this start to the NHL season on European soil.
