NHL: Patrick Kane will have to wait a few more days before moving to the Rangers

The Patrick Kane saga should not know its outcome any time soon.

According to the journalist TSN Chris Johnston, the veteran Chicago Blackhawks forward, is expected to move to the New York Rangers eventually, but that won’t happen until at least Wednesday.

Chris Johnston cites the salary cap to explain the delays in closing the deal.

Kane left the Hawks to return home to wait for things to happen.

Kane holds a no-move clause and for now he would be willing to waive it for Rangers.

Kane has scored 16 goals and added 29 assists in 54 games this season with the Blackhawks. He’s had a good time with seven goals and three assists in his last four games.

He played his entire career in Chicago, collecting 446 goals and 779 assists in 1,161 games.
