The Toronto Maple Leafs’ winning streak ended at seven.
The Vegas Golden Knights got the better of the Canadian team 6-2 on Tuesday to put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The Leafs had not suffered a defeat since a 5-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators on February 10.

He exchanged a few words with the official and during another stoppage in play a few moments later, he addressed the official again and this time he was thrown out of the game.
Alex Pietrangelo and Nicolas Roy completed the scoring for Vegas. Adin Hill stopped 29 pucks while his opposite side allowed five goals on 31 shots.
This victory is the 300th in the NHL for the Golden Knights. They became the team to reach this plateau the fastest, in their 514th game. The old mark belonged to the Edmonton Oilers with 542 games.
