NHL: Ryan Dzingel settles for two-way deal with Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes have announced the forward’s signing Ryan Dzingel who agreed to a one-year, two-part contract.

The deal will net Dzingel $750,000 at the NHL level and $150,000 at the American Hockey League level.

Dzingel, 30, played for Arizona and San Jose last season, recording eight points including five goals in 32 NHL games.

The 6’0″, 190-pound forward has already had 33 points in 75 games with the Hurricanes from 2019-2021, and he has recorded 188 points including 87 goals in 404 career NHL games with Ottawa, Columbus, Carolina , Arizona and San Jose since his debut with the Senators in 2015-16.

Selected by Ottawa in the seventh round, 204th overall, of the 2011 draft, Dzingel also appeared in 119 AHL games with Binghamton from 2014-16, recording 77 points.
