NHL – Seider helps Detroit win with three assists

Melbourne (SID) – National ice hockey player Moritz Seider made a major contribution to the success of the Detroit Red Wings in the North American professional league NHL with three assists. The defenseman’s team beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 following overtime. Seider was also involved in Robby Fabbri’s winner following 2:36 minutes of extra time and is the first defensive man in his franchise’s history to have three games with at least three assists at the age of 21.

John-Jason Peterka was also successful with the Buffalo Sabres, who defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 even without a scorer point from the German striker and celebrated their fifth win in a row. Goalie Thomas Greiss, on the other hand, suffered a 5-0 defeat with the St. Louis Blues at the Arizona Coyotes.
