NHL: the Canadiens receive a visit from the Predators; PK Subban will be honored before the game

The match between the Predators and the Canadiens, which will be preceded by a ceremony honoring PK Subban, will be presented at 7 p.m. on RDS and RDS.ca.

The Canadian will be looking to return to winning ways tonight when they host the Predators de Nashville at the Bell Center. The Predators beat the Habs 6-3 on Jan. 3 at Tennessee.

Before the meeting at the Bell Centre, the former defender PK Subban will be honored.

The Canadian recalled the striker Jesse Ylönen of the Laval Rocket on Wednesday, and the 23-year-old Finn will be in uniform against the Predators, while Martin St-Louis will send a formation composed of 11 attackers and seven defensemen on the ice. Ylönen will be twinned with Jonathan Drouin on the fourth unit, while Mike Hoffman et Michael Pezzetta will be left out.

“There is nothing that motivates [cette décision]it’s just [pour] try something”, was limited to saying the head coach to justify the voluntary employment of 11 forwards.

Hoffman will be scratched for the third time in four games.

Samuel Montembeault will be the starting goalkeeper and will have Cayden Primeau as a reservist, while Jake Allen is recovering from an upper body injury.

The defender Mike Matheson took part in morning training with his teammates. He wore a non-contact jersey, but will not be in uniform.

The Predators will play their second game in as many days. On Wednesday, they saw their four-game winning streak halted by the Toronto Maple Leafs, who pulled off a late 2-1 win.

The squad led by John Hynes are 5-1-1 in their last seven games.
