NHL: Two years for Kailer Yamamoto with the Edmonton Oilers

Edmonton Oilers signed Kailer Yamamoto who agreed to a two-year extension on Wednesday night.

The agreement is worth $3.1 million annually.

The right-winger set new personal highs for games played (81), goals (20), assists (21) and points (41) last season.

He also had seven points (two goals, five assists) in 14 playoff games.

Edmonton’s 2017 first-round pick, Yamamoto has 40 goals and 53 assists in 186 career games.
