Artis Nia Ramadan and her husband, Ardi Bakrie, has been released from rehabilitation punishment. This celebrity couple is free since March 29 last.
Both were released after the appeal decision was received and stated that they were both sentenced to 8 months of rehabilitation.
“The decision (of the appeal) was made last March 29 and we have received notification of the verdict and the verdict is 8 months of rehabilitation,” said Nia-Ardi’s lawyer, Wa Ode Nur Zainab, as quoted detik.comThursday (21/4).
Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie along with their driver Zen Vitranto were sentenced to one year in prison for drug-related cases. They then filed an appeal.
The court’s decision at the appeal level sentenced Nia Ramadhani, Ardi, and Zen to serve 8 months of rehabilitation.
“Eight months on March 10, so when the decision (appeal) is past the verdict,” he said.
Wa Ode stated that Nia Ramadhani, Ardi Bakrie, and Zen Vitranto had finished undergoing rehabilitation. However, they were released from the rehabilitation center at the end of last March.
“So, 8 months is from July 10, 2021, if 8 months it means March 10, 2022. Now the decision is on March 29, but when the sentence is 8 months it’s over, it’s already past 8 months,” he said.
Currently, said Wa Ode, Nia-Ardi-Zen has left the FAN Campus rehabilitation center, Bogor.
“It’s… it’s out, basically fasting has come out. So when the verdict is finished (undergoing rehabilitation),” he said.
