Managua/Vatican City – Nicaragua has apparently severed diplomatic ties with the Holy See. The reason is a recent interview by Pope Francis, in which he compared Nicaragua and the left-wing Sandinista regime with former communist dictatorships and National Socialism, reports the newspaper “La Presa” on Sunday, according to Kathpress from Managua, citing diplomatic circles in Rome.
