Nicolas Barth, the farmer in “green” and against all

Visiting Nicolas Barth for the very first time is no small feat. His farm located along the Doubs, outside the small village of Soubey in the cradle of the Jura Franches-Montagnes, is isolated from the rest of the world. The GPS drops us regarding ten minutes before getting there, the fault of the non-existent network in the region. We have to rely on the inhabitants of the village to guide us on the narrow path that will guide us to the property of the farmer.
