Nigeria Targets $100bn Investment via International Investors Summit 2026

The Business Summit Group is targeting more than $100 billion in investment commitments at the International Investors Summit Nigeria 2026. Scheduled for November 10 and 11 at the Abuja Continental Hotel, the two-day event will bring together delegates from over 50 countries to engage directly with Nigerian businesses, state governments, and investment agencies on ready-to-implement projects.

By filtering for investment-ready projects with proven track records for expansion, the upcoming Abuja gathering aims to bridge the gap between global liquidity and commercial execution.

Inside the Abuja Investment Blueprint

Set for the Grand Ballroom of the Abuja Continental Hotel, the summit will feature delegates from more than 50 nations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, Canada, and Switzerland. According to Business Summit Group President Dato’ Dr. M. Haider Uzzaman, the agenda focuses on direct B2B and public-private deal-making.

The targeted $100 billion mobilization spans a diverse portfolio of sectors. Organizers have prioritized oil and gas, green and renewable energy, technology, artificial intelligence, fintech, healthcare, agriculture and agro-processing, mining, infrastructure, and human resources development. Priority will go to ventures capable of immediate implementation, ensuring that participating firms possess the operational capacity to absorb foreign capital.

This focus stems from lessons learned during the previous edition held in Bangkok, Thailand. During that convening, 25 Nigerian companies and sub-national delegations met with international financiers. The outcomes proved tangible enough that participants requested that the next edition be hosted in Nigeria.

The Sub-National Success Blueprint

Plateau State offers a window into how these international engagements translate on the ground. Following its participation in the Bangkok summit, the state secured investment commitments exceeding $1 billion over a six-month period. That operational success led to the appointment of Dato’ Uzzaman as Special Adviser on Investment to Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

Other sub-national governments are encouraged to replicate that model.

Registration has formally opened for medium and large-scale enterprises seeking one-on-one matchmaking sessions with global financiers.
