Nikita Zadorov seems to have had enough of the Calgary Flames’ failures.
Network’s Kevin Weekes ESPN reported in the evening that the defender had requested, through his agent Dan Milstein, a transaction from the Flames. This news comes moments after the Alberta team’s 5-4 shootout loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Zadorov also scored his first goal of the season in this meeting. He scored the second goal for his team, which was trailing 4 to 2 at the time. The 28-year-old defender also has four assists to his tally since the start of the campaign.
Zadorov is playing his third season with the Flames. He previously played for the Buffalo Sabres, Colorado Avalanche and Chicago Blackhawks.
The Flames are in sixth place in the Pacific Division with only four wins and 10 points in 13 games this season.
