Also on March 8, the show is scheduled to be presented at the Nea Erythraia High School, while on the celebration of March 25, 2024, it will be presented at the Malliaropoulio Theater in Tripoli!
A few words about the project…
Nikitaras! He is the one who fought so many battles, who broke three swords in Dervenakia and who never agreed to take booty.
He is the one who was unjustly imprisoned for two years in a dark cell, enduring savage beatings and humiliations.
A hero who, after the revolution of 1821, was blinded by the hardships and tortures and was forced to become a beggar, so that he and his family could survive.
He is the one who saw his daughter Sophia go crazy because she saw him covered in blood!! Who saw his hut being auctioned off!
A hero, a Greek, who throughout his life fought for a free homeland, but no one knows to this day, where his grave is…(!!!) A heartbreaking-human performance, which will move even the most hardened viewer …
