U23 right-back and influencer star Niklas-Wilson Sommer (25) wants to play in the Africa Cup of Nations in January. The Dessau native revealed this in a live broadcast a few days ago.
Sommer: “Two years ago I was asked if I would like to play for the Angolan national team. I didn’t want to back then. Now Angola has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations. We are therefore in contact with the Angolan Football Association again.”
But the Instagram star (890,000 followers) doesn’t just want to get started here. Sommer is also already looking towards the 2nd league at 1. FC Nürnberg: “It makes me feel good that they have given me a professional contract because those in charge also believe that I obviously have the potential to reach the top at some point – maybe not today or tomorrow, maybe not in three months.”
