“I voiced Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” wrote “Afghani,” who is perhaps best known for voicing Arnold in the popular video game Genshin Impact, on X. Nintendo confirmed to Polygon that Al-Afghani is voicing the characters and will be the first actor. Depicts Mario.
Users noticed something different in Mario’s voice when the first trailer for Super Mario Bros. debuted. Wonder, which arrives on October 20, but it’s unclear who will play Mario’s arch-rival in that game, Engadget reports.
Martinet, 67, has played several other characters in the Mario universe since 1991, including Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Luigi and Baby Mario.
