By complete surprise, Nintendo Switch just updated to version 14.1.0 introducing as the main novelty a reminder so that we know when to claim our pending platinum points.

Added “Platinum Points Notification Settings” in System Settings notifications.
Unclaimed Platinum Points earned by completing Nintendo Switch Online missions on your Nintendo Switch console will trigger notifications.
Nintendo Switch Online missions and rewards are not available in some countries and regions. For more information, see How to Complete a My Nintendo Mission.
Setting these notifications to OFF will hide the notification that is sent when there are unclaimed Platinum Points.
