When you equip yourself with a Switch, it’s often to play a lot of user-friendly games. However, we suspect that this purchase will have to be accompanied by multiple accessories to make the most of its console. That’s good because for the sales, some find themselves at bargain prices.

When buying a Switch, there is one element that quickly comes to mind, and that is storage. Indeed with its internal 32 GB (or 64 GB in its OLED version)we quickly fill them up and find ourselves stuck for new games or updates.

Nintendo had the idea of releasing official MicroSD cards, the 256 GB model is usually sold for around €93 on Amazon. However, with the sales, the American giant had the good idea to offer a big discount of €44, i.e. 47% discount and a final price of €49.
SanDisk 256GB MicroSD: A great way to play all your games
As we told you and surely you are already aware if you have a Switch, the internal memory of the console very quickly shows its limits and the purchase of a memory extension quickly becomes an obligation in order to be able to enjoy all its games serenely.
Nintendo in collaboration with SanDisk has therefore released a series of MicroSD cards to meet the storage needs of its console. Offering performance of 100MB/s in reading and 90MB/s in writing, they are of course offered in different capacities.
The collaboration went further than a simple Nintendo logo on the packaging since the cards are available on several themes from the Nintendo universe, but not only :
- Une version grise “The Legend of Zelda”
- A yellow version with Mario’s star
- A red Toad version
- A green version from Animal Crossing
- A silver version taken from Apex Legend
This little extra is obviously only aesthetic and will eventually allow you to differentiate your model dedicated to your console from others that could be lying around in your drawers. However, make no mistake, even in collaboration with Nintendo, this card can of course be used in any device compatible with MicroSDXC.
