RIO DE JANEIRO – The Nissan Kicks is a sales success in the country and is winning over more and more Brazilians. A passion that goes beyond the “real” model and also conquers people of all ages in its miniature versions. And that’s what fans of the Japanese brand, large or small-scale vehicles, will be able to see at the 4th Salon Diecast, the largest miniatures event in Brazil, which takes place in São Paulo, with the presence of companies, exhibitors and collectors from all over the world. the country and abroad.
The event takes place on the 3rd and 4th of June, at the Pro Magno Convention Center, and will bring together thousands of miniatures. In addition to the New Nissan Kicks, many other Nissan models in different scales will be on display, from the Frontier pickup to the 100% electric LEAF, passing through the GT-R sports car.
The format of the Diecast Salon follows the style of the main miniatures events existing in other countries. Thus, visitors will find collection exhibition areas, exchange and sale of miniatures, lectures by manufacturers and industry personalities, Downhill competition (racing on special tracks) and a large customization contest. The latter will have a specific category to elect the best Nissan miniature car customization.
The choice of the winner of the Nissan miniatures customization category will be made by a jury that will have the participation of a designer from the Nissan South America Design Studio team. The champion will receive a special trophy and will be able to visit the Nissan Industrial Complex in Resende, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, where the New Nissan Kicks is produced.
The first Diecast Salon took place in 2019. The last edition, held last year, brought together around 10,000 miniatures and had more than 3,000 visitors.
