YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan today revealed the Nissan Hyper Adventure, the second vehicle in its series of advanced electric vehicle concepts for the Japan Mobility Show, which begins October 25.

The digital concept is a sport utility vehicle designed for people who are passionate about outdoor adventures and an eco-friendly lifestyle. Prolonged time on the road requires energy, so the Nissan Hyper Adventure concept and its V2X technology are designed to sustain electricity needs anytime, anywhere, while respecting the environment.

Whether it’s a weekend trip to the local mountains or a months-long trip to a remote location, the Nissan Hyper Adventure’s primary purpose is to accommodate the diverse needs of people who enjoy the outdoors. Its large capacity battery acts as a power source, allowing users to power their electronic devices, light campsites or even recharge electric jet skis. V2X (vehicle-to-everything) technology can provide energy to homes (V2H) or a local community by contributing surplus energy to the grid (V2G).

When traveling through a snowy canyon or along the muddy trail of a lush rainforest, Nissan’s advanced e-4ORCE integral control system helps ensure travelers reach their destination with peace of mind, safety and style.

The exterior features dynamic body panels that express activity, thanks to the distinctive diagonal line on the side of the vehicle that accentuates the spacious cabin interior. By redirecting the air flowing through the front spoiler, the car can achieve high aerodynamic performance. Aerodynamics are further enhanced by the glass that integrates the roof and side windows and the level surface of the rear. The front and rear wheels and bumpers are equipped with cramponsor snow traction gears, to allow the car to pass through snowy areas with power and ease.

The unique interior features and cabin space are designed to make driving easy and comfortable in all situations. The instrument panel connects to the lower part of the windshield, serving as a screen with a wide field of vision – as if the vehicle body were transparent – and perfectly connecting the space inside and outside the car. The interior also has cargo space for outdoor gear like tents, skis, or even a kayak. The rear seat is unique as it can rotate 180 degrees on an axis and create a comfortable seating area facing the rear of the vehicle. This feature, which includes automatic extendable and retractable steps, is useful when camping, preparing for a day of skiing, or enjoying a scenic view.

The Nissan Hyper Adventure concept is designed to handle a wide range of outdoor adventures comfortably, safely and with good power delivery. It will be displayed digitally at the Japan Mobility Show.

A special music video will be broadcast live on the Nissan no YouTube until October 25th. As each of Nissan’s concept cars are revealed before the show, they will appear in the video.
