Hello Games and Bandai Namco Europe today announce the release of No Man’s Sky on Nintendo Switch. The game is available digitally from the Nintendo eShop and physical from retailers. A physical version for PlayStation 5 is also available today.

First released in 2016, No Man’s Sky is a futuristic exploration game set in a procedurally generated universe populated by countless planets and star systems teeming with life. Players can explore, craft, build, trade, fight or simply try to survive in this vast intergalactic playground.

Since its initial launch, No Man’s Sky has benefited from six years of development and received more than 20 major updates. From day one, Nintendo Switch players will enjoy all of these updates as well as the content that will be added later to this gigantic universe. Starting with “Waypoint”, 21st update and version 4.0, which is released today on all platforms, Nintendo Switch included, bringing several hundred changes to the game. Whether you are a newbie or a long-term space explorer, it’s the perfect time to embark on a new interstellar journey.

No Man’s Sky is for many an “endless game”, as evidenced by the half a billion hours of play accumulated by the millions of players who make up a community renowned for its benevolence.
