In an interview with journalist José Cárdenas, the governor of Puebla, Sergio Salomon Cespedes, said that, although the Civil Protection authorities determined to maintain the alert in Yellow Phase 3there is no reason for the population to be alarmed by a possible violent activity of Popocatépetl.

“We are not in a case of alarm of a possible eruption and that this leads us to an eviction”, were the words of the state president.
