Mexico City: The current world champion Red Bull’s Dutch driver Mark Verstappen continued to advance in the Formula One Grand Prix Carota race.

Verstappen also won the Mexican Grand Prix. Former world champion Mercedes’ British driver Lewis Hamilton finished second. Ferrari’s French driver Charles Leclerc, who competed on pole position, finished third. Red Bull’s native driver Sergio Perez might not finish the race.

Verstappen returned with a record 16 wins in the season. The player surpassed his own record of 15 wins. Verstappen also had a record of 10 consecutive wins. There are three more rounds left in the season.

The race was briefly halted following Kevin Magnussen’s car crashed into the barrier. With 491 points, Verstappen is far ahead in the world championship. Co-driver Sergio Perez is second with 240 points. Lewis Hamilton is third with 220 points.
