Elon Musk, who bought the popular platform last October for $44 billion, announced that his company is about to launch video calls and voice conversations.
In a tweet on his account, which is followed by about 155 million users, Musk revealed today, Thursday, some of the features of this feature, pointing out that it will work on iOS, Android, Mac and even PC systems, and most importantly without the need to reveal your phone number.
However, he did not mention the possible date of its launch, saying only that it is “coming”.
This is not the first time that voice and video calls have been discussed on the X platform. In July, one of its employees shared footage of the feature in action.
While it was not known whether it would be available only to Blue subscribers or to all users of the famous Twitter platform.
It is noteworthy that Musk seeks to transform this giant company in the field of communication sites, into something like an “effective global address book.”
