Kollam: A literacy activist committed suicide in Kollam after not getting his salary for six months. Pathanapuram native ES Biju died. He was facing a severe financial crisis as he had not received his salary for six months.
An order was issued to transfer the instigators who were under the Public Education Department to the local department, but it was not implemented. Due to this he was not getting salary.
