The incident took place when the Prime Minister, who was on a two-day visit to Gujarat, was leaving Ahmedabad for Gandhinagar on Friday. On the way, the convoy was stopped for a while to give way to the ambulance.
The Prime Minister was on his way to Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar after a public rally near Doordarshan Center in Ahmedabad on Friday afternoon. The journey continued after the ambulance passed.
