The cleanliness of the emergency room of the Trois-Rivières regional hospital scandalized a citizen who denounced the situation by taking several images of the inventory that he considers unacceptable.
He wonders when the floors would have been washed the last time, explaining that grime has accumulated for a very long time, to the point where it is possible to scrape it off.
André Lesage had to go there during appointments for his wife. He went there in June and July, and was able to visit several areas.
“On the stairs, the passages, the state of the floors, it makes no sense. When I arrived and saw it was that dirty, I asked a passing nurse. I said, ‘Madam, isn’t there anyone doing the cleaning? It’s the staff, I can’t really tell you,” she replied.
“They disinfect,” added the worker, pointing out that they passed often.
“I asked him if they wash with a mop, with soap? It’s black! It’s been there for a long time! ”, protests the man.
Mr. Lesage discussed it with several nurses, well aware of the problem, which became a “running gag”.
