BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – Commercial air travel in North Dakota continues to climb.
The state saw 101,377 passengers take to the skies in Oct. according to the state aeronautic commission. That was a 7% increase over a year ago.
The last time that North Dakota surpassed 100,000 passengers during Oct. was in the pre-pandemic year of 2019 when the state experienced 102,240 boardings.
Fargo’s Hector International Airport hit a new monthly passenger record with 43,332 boardings. The previous record for the airport for Oct. was in 2019 with 39,968 passengers.
