Guwahati:Indian Super League football club North East United has appointed Spaniard Juan Pedro Benali as its new coach. 54-year-old Juan Pedro has coached clubs in Europe and Asia.

He is the coach who promoted Japan club Vissel Kobe to the J League. In 2003, Sharjah F.C. UAE Cup champions are also under Pedro.
