The Norwegian oil tanker shipping company Frontline no longer wants to merge with its Belgian sector colleague Euronav. The company reports that the merger agreement has been terminated. The merger was to create a global leader in the oil tanker industry, it was announced last year when the plans were announced. But it soon became clear that the Saverys family, who founded Euronav, opposed the merger.
