Nintendo has added four more classic titles to the Mega Drive games library on the Switch Online service: Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, Crusader of Centy, Landstalker e The Revenge of Shinobi.

The last time the service received console games was in April, when Pulseman, Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, Kid Chameleon and Flicky titles were added.

Players will need to update the Nintendo Switch Mega Drive emulator in order to run the new titles. The process usually occurs automatically, but if it hasn’t been done, go to the application’s settings and update manually.

Ghouls ‘n Ghosts was released in arcades in 1988 as a sequel to Capcom’s Ghosts ‘n Goblins. The port was developed by SEGA and praised for its fidelity. In the title, the player controls the knight Arthur on his mission to rescue the princess from the “Prince of Darkness”.

The action RPG Crusader of Centy was released as Soleil in Europe and features a boy named Corona who inherits his deceased father’s sword on his 14th birthday. He needs to protect his city when monsters invade, traveling through time in search of answers.

Landstalker is an isometric action adventure starring Nigel, a treasure hunter who encounters the fairy Friday in search of King Nole’s legendary treasure. Lastly, The Revenge of Shinobi is the second game in the Shinobi franchise and features ninja Joe Musashi hunting down the Neo Zeed criminal organization to rescue his fiancée and take revenge for his master’s murder.

The Nintendo Switch Online Subscription Additional Package allows players to have access to Mega Drive, Nintendo 64, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games, in addition to existing Nintendinho and Super Nintendo titles from the normal subscription.
