The French striker Kylian Mbappé scored a double today for Paris Saint Germain which was insufficient in the 3-2 home loss against Nice, in advance of the fifth date of the French soccer league.
Mbappé converted 29 minutes into the first half, when PSG fell 1-0 with a goal from Nigerian Terem Igobor Moffi (PT 21m). Nice then took the lead with the Frenchman Gaetan Laborde (ST 8m) and one more from Moffi (ST 23m) in the Parc des Princes in Paris.
Mbappé’s second goal (ST 42m) only served for the statistics in the first defeat of the last French champion, currently led by the Spanish Luis Enrique.
Mbappé, with 7 goals, is the top scorer of the tournament and of PSG, who has scored 10 goals in total.
With this result, Nice ended a streak of 14 years without winning at the Parc des Princes, reaching 9 points and being one behind the leader Monaco (10). Meanwhile, PSG was left with 8.
