‘Not even one per cent tolerate corruption’; Bhagwant fired, minister arrested Bhagwant Mann

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has sacked a minister accused of corruption. Health Minister Vijay Sinha has been ousted. He was arrested shortly followingwards. The reason for dismissing the minister was that it turned out that he had demanded a one per cent commission from the contractors.

The CM said that even one per cent corruption will not be tolerated. According to party sources, the minister was sacked following the anti-corruption model of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Raghav Chadha MP said that only the Aam Aadmi Party has the power to take action once morest its own workers for corruption. He said he had witnessed such proceedings in Delhi.
