Taika Waititi, the Oscar-winning actor who directed “Thor 3” and “Thor 4”, recently said in an interview that he is not sure whether Marvel plans to continue filming the “Thor” series of movies. Still, he said he would definitely not be involved.
Waititi revealed that he is currently focused on other projects, including filming the “Star Wars” series of movies. He also said that the “Star Wars” movie is “still a work in progress.”
Waititi further explained that he won’t return for another potential Thor movie until all of these projects are completed, which could happen in six or seven years. He speculated that Marvel might want to make another Thor movie before then, so even if he was interested in getting involved, he doesn’t think it’s likely.
However, Waititi expressed openness to another director for a potential fifth Thor movie. He said: “I would never feel like they were cheating on me, our relationship is open and if they want to date someone else, I’m happy for it. I will still go back to their bed one day.”
