Nothing goes away: How to use leftovers sensibly – Food & Drink

The suitcases were packed and the apartment was mothballed when I discovered the almost empty bottle of red wine during the last check in the fridge (a wine expert once explained to me that it lasts longer there). In less than an hour, my parents wanted to pick me up at home for Christmas together. So what to do with the wine? Drink? Too early. Risk a discussion with my dad (beige leather seats)? Or drink?
