Starts at 1 p.m., meeting point at the Austria Center Vienna, Entrance 2, Media Lounge
Vienna (OTS) – The organizing committee of the INTERPOL General Assembly invites all media representatives to the ceremonial conclusion of this year’s meeting in the Austria Center Vienna. The highlight of the ceremony is the ceremonial handover of the INTERPOL flag to the host of the next General Assembly, Great Britain.
Program of the traditional closing ceremony:
From 12:00 p.m.: Media entry (please be punctual)
1:00 p.m.: Start of the closing ceremony & closing words from Interior Minister Gerhard Karner
1:15 p.m.: Closing speech by INTERPOL President Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi
1:25 p.m.: Ceremonial handover of the INTERPOL flag by Interior Minister Karner to the head of the delegation from Great Britain
Afterwards: speech by the upcoming host with video presentation
1:45 p.m.: Departure of the flag squad and ceremonial conclusion of the 91st INTERPOL General Assembly.
ACCREDITATION
Media representatives are cordially invited to this event. Accreditation is necessary for participation. To do this, the form must be filled out using the following link – following checking the data, you will receive the accreditation by email.
IMPORTANT: Media representatives who have already accredited themselves for the INTERPOL General Assembly do not need to accredit themselves once more for this date.
